Frequently Asked Questions
Test Out of a Course
Some courses may allow you to test out of them to avoid having to take a full course on a subject in which you may already have proficient knowledge. To prove proficiency, students must take a special final. This final may only be taken once, and will have a slightly lower passing grade requirement (95%) than the rest of our quizzes and finals (100%). Failure to meet the passing grade will require the student to take the entire course regardless of past experience..

You may request to test out through our Waiver & Special Request Form. Choose wisely! Courses that you test out of will not count towards the 32 credit minimum for issuance of certificates/degrees
